Home on the Strange

Home on the Strange is an independent comedy television pilot written, directed, produced, and financed by Mike Henry. The project stars Henry as Reggie Wilkerson, also known as “Mr. Hilarious,” a successful television personality who returns to his hometown in Virginia after a family crisis pulls him back home. Having evolved far beyond the small-town country club culture he once knew, Reggie quickly realizes that while he may have changed, his hometown has not. The pilot was produced by Patrick Henry and executive produced by Joseph Micucci. It also stars Jenny Wade, Steve Agee, and Kevin Michael Richardson. A demo for the project was filmed in Richmond, Virginia in the fall of 2016 by cinematographer Bunt Young and later edited by Nick Wurz at Mondial Creative.
